One of the frustrating things about running websites in Canada is that you often need Canadian suppliers for regulatory reasons, and it can be hard to find Canadian suppliers.

A case in point is online forms software. If you are collecting any personal data it is risky to do so using a US-based company because then any data that gets transmitted or stored by them is subject to the U.S. Patriot Act.

I recently found what looks to be a good Canadian company for online forms creation and hosting: Logiforms.com. They have a free trial program, if you want to give it a try. It has performed well in my testing so far.
